We’re looking for contemporary explorers. We’re looking for those of you who climb higher, go farther, look deeper, and drive harder. Those who seek out adventure in the every day and on forays into the unknown.
ARE WE LOOKING FOR YOU?
We’re looking for explorers who hike, climb, paddle, row, surf, swim, cycle, run, or walk. We’re looking for explorers who share ideas, tell stories, snap photos, make movies, or simply observe. We’re looking for explorers who travel the world or and explore their home city. So long as you get outside and explore.
Last week, we held our first cross-county cleanup with our newest partner-Levi’s.
This apparel pioneer shares our commitment to volunteerism and our mission to conserve our world’s waterways. On Community Day, Levi’s employees and executives from around the world join together for a day of giving back. The Bay Area alone had 32 projects, including a cleanup of the Damon Slough, a wetland that feeds into the San Leandro Bay, with United By Blue.
Together, UBB and 60 Levi’s team members removed 1,321 pounds of trash from Damon’s Slough, which was named one of the top five littered waterways in the Bay Area in 2012. Our weird trash collection included a pregnancy test, a shot gun handle, a baby walker, rattan chair, and British Passport.
For every product sold, United By Blue removes 1 pound of trash from our world’s oceans & waterways through company organized cleanups. Join us at our next one!
